It is with deep sadness that the NISCA Executive Committee announces the death of one of its longstanding and valued members. Jean Stirrup sadly passed away on 1st December.

Jean is a former co-chair of NISCA and has been a key member of the Conference Planning Committee for the past few years.

Jean’s long involvement in the world of careers, including posts at QUB and Belfast Metropolitan College, gave her an in-depth understanding of CEIAG and provided expertise in event organisation beyond that of careers teachers. Her devotion to the work of NISCA and invaluable insights will be greatly missed as well as her warmth, energy and friendship.

The NISCA Executive Committee offers its sincere condolences to Jean’s family and friends.
