Careers in the Land-based and Environmental Sector
Lantra is a nationally recognised awarding body that specialises in the development of training courses and qualifications, primarily for the land-based and environmental sectors. Lantra work closely with government and industry to ensure courses meet the requirements of industry, with the aim of ensuring that they have competent workforces.
In addition to the provision of training, Lantra provides careers information specific to job roles within the sector. They are committed to developing approaches to bring in new talent and address the acute labour shortages across the 12 industries in the sector. They help people get started in pursuing a rewarding career, providing them with an understanding of the entry-points and pathways for progression, and supporting their ongoing training.
