The BBC’s award-winning apprenticeship schemes could be a chance to start an exciting career across a wide range of jobs in the media industry – business; digital, data and technology; engineering and operations; journalism; and production.
Early careers schemes are for anyone aged 18 upwards – whether you’re a school leaver, a career changer or anything in-between!
Vacancies for all schemes can be found on the BBC Early Careers Page. Most schemes went live on 22nd October, with a second wave launching on December 10th.
Salaries are competitive, with level 3 – 6 schemes starting at £21,840 and level 7 schemes starting at £25,500. If you’re working in London there will be an additional London uplift payment of £5,318.
The BBC is a gold standard apprenticeship provider and has been delivering successful apprenticeship programmes for over a decade. They ranked 5th in the Times Graduate Employer list for 2024/25 and were named Creative, Media and Marketing Employer of the Year at the Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards 2023.
